Jessica is a Principal Big Data engineer for Big Data at AT&T. She writes code that makes it possible to derive useful insights from huge amounts of data. Before joining AT&T, Jessica held a position as lead software developer on the Big Data team at The Home Depot, where she was the first developer in the company to administer and develop applications for Hadoop.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from Georgia State University where she studied Physicalism in the Philosophy of Mind, and a BS in Computer Science. In her spare time, she enjoys quilting and is currently pursuing a Nanodegree in Artificial Intelligence from Udacity.
